Privacy Policy

Effective Date: February 18, 2026

Welcome to Samsaram, a premium Malayalam calling platform operated by Xoolweby Lab. We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us, such as your phone number during registration and payment verification details (screenshots) when you recharge your account via UPI.

2. App Permissions & Usage

To provide high-quality audio and video calling services, Samsaram requires access to the following features on your device:

CAMERA & RECORD_AUDIO: Used to facilitate real-time video and audio conversations. We do not record or store these streams on our servers.

MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS: Allows the app to optimize audio output (speaker/earpiece) during calls for better clarity.

READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: Required to select and upload payment screenshots from your gallery for manual recharge verification (for devices on Android 12 or below).

FOREGROUND_SERVICE (Microphone): Ensures that your microphone remains active and the call stays connected even if the app is minimized or the screen is turned off.

WAKE_LOCK: Keeps the device processor active during an ongoing call to prevent sudden disconnections when the screen goes to sleep.

INTERNET: Essential for connecting your calls and transmitting data through our secure communication channels.

3. Security & Anti-Abuse Measures

Your privacy is our priority. To prevent the misuse of video calls and protect our users, we have disabled the ability to take screenshots or screen recordings within the Samsaram app.

4. Data Deletion Policy

Users have the right to delete their accounts and all associated data at any time.

Steps to delete your account: Open the app > Navigate to the 'Report' section > Select 'Account Deletion' > State your reason and click Submit. Your account and data will be permanently removed from our records after verification.

5. Age Restriction (18+)

Samsaram is strictly intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect or solicit data from anyone under the age of 18.
